Truman Capote
I see the photo of those mushrooms, and memories of searching for mushrooms in the woods with my father come rushing back, then they are followed by more memories of the things we did together, conversation we had, and the way he would always say, " That's my boy " no matter how old I was. Memories are truly the magic of existence, and keep the past from fading away. Truman Capote was a brilliant writer, and could be sentimental at times. He wrote a wonderful short story called, " A Christmas Memory " filled with love, nostalgia, and the pure joy of remembering the past. I recommend it highly. As I get older, I never worry about death. I worry about the lose of memory. Big Hugs and Kisses, my sweet Friend
ResponderEliminarOne of the most important things I want to transmit with my photos is the life, the ordinary life. You say you remember memories with your father, and this is wonderful to me. I agree with you, that memory is important, we have to preserve memory. When the time pass, it´s the only thing we have. Lots of kisses, my friend, and thank you very much for your words.
